Entirety
We are human. Within our time on Earth we will experience pain, loss, sorrow, and grief. We are human. We will fail. We will try again. And we will grow.
Within all of our experiences in this life, the most important thing is to keep our eyes on eternity. It's the hope for a bright future, a forever spent with our best friend Jesus, and our beloved Father God.
If you think about it, we can't do much. We can't do anything without God, and we have no control. I don't know why we are constantly seeking control rather than the peace of full surrender. I don't know why we are constantly afraid of losing more rather than enjoying the entirety of Jesus' hopes and promises for us.
We can't just surrender bits and pieces of our lives to God. We can't just give Him parts. He wants the ENTIRETY of our hearts. No matter how broken. Our hearts are the things God desires most. Our whole heart. Our whole lives.
Giving up the entirety of our lives and souls to God will produce a confidence and fearless that will radiate through us and give us an even greater joy within the covenant and companionship we have with our Lord.
So Jesus, we trust You with our everything. You are faithful, holy, and so good! We give ourselves to you to accomplish whatever may be in Your perfect will. Amen.
