Yet to Come
Although things may seem dark, dreary, or gloomy right now, there is so much awaiting us in the future. No matter what stage of life we're in, how old we are, or what our lives may look like, the best is always yet to come, because we have Jesus as our joy, hope, and confident assurance.
The seed must first die in the ground before new life is able to appear. The sun must set completely before the stars are able to shine forth. This is the same for us. So if you feel lonely, tired, scared, confused, or anything else, know that there is better coming for you! We have a victory that we can claim, through Jesus. The victory that He won. So don't let the conflicting emotions of the world get you down. Jesus has so much in store for the future - things we cannot comprehend.
God is doing something new. Something fresh. He is making rivers in dry wasteland. He is making a pathway through the wilderness. He's doing something unexpected that will change our lives. Don't give into the lie that our lives are simply routine and nothing more. There is so much more.
If Jesus can make beauty from the ashes, He can and will do it again. After this time of hardship and difficulty, we will rise! We will thrive, because of the strength that God provides. We will be pulled close to Him and live alongside Him, forever. We will be like Him. We will be redeemed from the curse of death and spend eternity with Him.
Friends, let me reiterate this - the best is surely yet to come.
