Do it Again
Jesus, will You go with us through the busyness. Will You meet us here, in the chaos. Will You come along, step by step, hour by hour, through our days and through our weeks. It doesn't seem to be slowing down, so please strengthen us and allow us to accomplish everything we need to. Even though it's busy, would You show up and send little surprises along the way. Would You let us laugh with You and cry with You. You've always comforted us through the mess, so God, please do it again!
After every season of drought and fear, there is a season of growth and then a season of flourishing. You have never failed to bring the sun up in the morning, or the moon out at night. You have never failed to bring green grass and yellow flowers in the spring. You have never failed to bring about joy after mourning. Won't you please do it again?
You have always fulfilled Your promises to us. You have never failed to meet our expectations. You have never let us down and You never will. There is hope in each new day, week, month, and year. Thank You for all the opportunities that you provide for new beginnings. Sometimes that's all we need to refocus on You.
God, I just pray that You'll be here, in all the craziness. That You'll be alive and active. That we'll feel Your presence. That You'll continue to fulfill Your promises and may we never forget what You've done and that You never fail. Seeing both the past trials and triumphs, we have hope that You'll perform these miracles again. Thank You Jesus! Amen.
