Fallen World
Emotions are deceiving. Lies are everywhere. Bonds are broken. This is the world we live in. We need to find truth. We need to find redemption. We need to find Jesus.
It's a fallen world, influenced by desires, ruined by distortion, and lead by mistrust. God didn't intend for this to happen. He didn't want it or will it. But He knew it. Although this was the result of the evil one's schemes, Jesus can and will make all things for good.
Although Jesus had no part in creating the evil that dwells in this world, He meets humanity here, He uses all things for the honour of His Name, and He shows Himself powerful to heal, renew, and restore.
Although God didn't create or want these things, He's still with us through all of it. He lived in this fallen world and He died in this fallen world. Now He lives in us as we try to maneuver through this fallen world. There is still a place for freedom and for justice and for righteousness. There is still a place for good. There is still a place for love. That is found in Jesus' heart alone.
We need to guard our hearts from this fallen world, in order to hold onto purity. We need to put on the armor of God, in order to stand up against what's wrong and unholy. We need Jesus to strengthen us, in order for us to live out a life that's pleasing to Him, and that's what we are ultimately hoping for.
