Endlessly Pursuing
Happy New Year everyone! This year we are going to do something a little different. We're going to mix it up a little. You see, every year we get the message of 'fresh starts' and 'new beginnings', of making goals for how we want to live the next year of our lives, but perhaps this year, instead of looking to the future, we could reflect upon the past. Now, don't get me wrong, it's great to think ahead and plan on living life to the fullest, however, I feel like we often push past the wonderful things God has done when we only focus on what He's going to do.
So here's my challenge for you, as we approach this new year: look back, reflect, see where God has worked in and through your mind, heart, and life, and thank him for the miracles He's performed. I guarantee, He's been actively working, affectionately loving, and endlessly pursuing. Jesus is completely devoted to you. He's chasing after you. He has this entire year, and every year before that.
Before making goals for how you want to do the next 365 days, be sure to consult God, spend time with Him, and praise Him for the wonders He's shown. That time was not a waste, nor should it be taken for granted. There was so much purpose in the last year. So much intention. So much loyalty, faithfulness, and dedication.
May God bless you in this new year and continue to show His faithfulness. ♥
