Power in Tear Drops
There is power in tear drops. They express the most intimate feelings and needs. They express what's in our hearts when we can't translate it into words. They are prayers to God, for when we can't speak.
There is power in tear drops. When they're shared between friends, it creates a sense of community, it builds trust, and it allows the opportunity for God to speak through others. They are vulnerable. Vulnerability is the seed that grows strong relationships.
There is power in tear drops. They are a direct link to God. He collects them. They are precious to Him. WE are precious to Him. He is the One holding us each time tears fall. His comforting Spirit embraces us.
There is power in tear drops. Whether they're expressing anger, sadness, joy, or anything else, it holds the same power. God is faithful in delivering us, whether we can process and understand our emotions or not. Jesus walked this earth too. He suffered more than any of us. He had conflicting emotions too. He understands. Even when we don't, He does. Jesus shed tears too.
There is power in tear drops. Sometimes feelings are stronger than words could ever be. Sometimes tears are more about healing than about the messiness of life. It's so beautiful.
