Be Truly Glad
A quote that has stuck out to me lately is "The Best is Yet to Come". It is both inspiring and comforting. It shows that God still has plans for our lives that have yet to be fulfilled. It's exciting! I believe He wants us to get excited about it.
You see, good is the best's worst enemy. If we settle with 'good enough' then we aren't allowing ourselves the opportunity for what God truly wants for us. He wants us to be happy. He wants us to live full, rewarding, and whole lives. And this can only be satisfied through Him.
The Bible tells us that there is wonderful joy ahead and because of this we can be truly glad. God uses the trials to build our character. He stretches us and allows us to grow through them. God uses our mistakes and failures and misfortunes to teach us. He has reasons behind everything. Even the things that don't make sense, or that seem too weak or broken or unworthy. God meets us there, not to give up on us, but to allow us more opportunities than ever to embrace the life He's called us to and to live close to Him.
Don't let hard seasons get in the way of seeing the bigger picture of our lives. Let's get excited about the future and not let anything hold us back from achieving all greatness. God will provide the strength so we can do what He wants us to.
Don't be discouraged. The best is yet to come. God still has so much in store.
