Not a Fleeting Moment
True love doesn't manipulate. It doesn't pry. It doesn't blame. True love doesn't seduce. It isn't focused on worldly desires. It isn't a fleeting moment. Jesus is far more than a fleeting moment. He is the power in charge of every moment that exists! He is infinite eternity.
I have learned that good intentions are not good enough. If we want to be righteous, pure, cleansed, blameless, and whole, we need to seek Jesus directly. This is the only way we can escape this wicked world, filled with evil lies, human lust, and fleeting moments, because Jesus is the ONLY One who's not a fleeting moment. He lives through all worlds, all realms, and all moments. All of them.
Love isn't from this world. It's from Jesus. He is the only Being worthy of love. Without Him, love doesn't exist!
Love is not necessarily about words. It's easy to tell someone you love them, but showing them reveals its meaning. Jesus showed us two thousand years ago how much He loves us. I want to be like Him. I want to show love through actions, gestures and sacrifices. I want to be a valid representation of Jesus, and the love He's poured into my life. I believe that if we have Jesus, we will always have abundant love to share.
So I encourage you to be intentional this week about living to show God's love, to think about the eternal impact of that love, and to focus more upon eternity rather than the fleeting moments of this world.
