A Prayer of Love
Thank You, Jesus, for being a loving God. For being love. We need more love in our world, in our society, and in our hearts. We need more of You.
God, I want to pray for opportunities to bless and love others. Will Your Spirit guide us to the right people and places. Will Your Spirit give us wisdom to know what to say in those times. It's so comforting to know that we won't have to do any of this on our own. It is Your strength that gets us through. It is Your support that allows us to keep going. And it is your kind forgiveness that allows us to get back up when we fall short.
Please open our eyes to see what You want us to. Please open our hearts to receive the criticism that we need to. Would You help us radiate the love that You Yourself pour into us. Thank You that there is nothing separating us from Your love. Thank You for being consistent in Your love and mercies. Thank You for being a good Father and Friend. Thank You for pursuing us, taking the first step towards us, and not giving up on us when we turn away from You, over and over. We want to be a good friend to You as well. Would You help us do that? Would You show us how?
We want to know and love You, Jesus.
