Opens Doors and Closes Them
Something that I've learned about God is that He can work very slowly sometimes, and very swiftly at others. Sometimes it takes years of praying for one day when everything changes in a heartbeat. Sometimes God brings up opportunities out of seemingly nowhere that fills a need you didn't even know you had! It's beautiful, isn't it? That even if we plan out our own lives, God will move within our heart's desires and motives, and make things happen! Our God opens doors and closes them. He knows exactly when particular seasons have to come to an end and when others should begin! We can trust Him with every tiny detail of our lives.
It's always hard when one door closes, because it's a loss of something, either a job, or a friendship, or a place, but when one door closes, another opens. God gives and also takes away. And sometimes there's an awkward waiting period between doors, and that's good too - a chance to wait on God, trust Him, and praise Him for taking care of us.
My prayer for you is that you'll embrace the opportunities that God has for you, whether it's a loss or a gain, God will use it for the good of His kingdom. That you will be open to see God moving and working in your life, that you won't miss what's God's doing, and that He'll bless you through your obedience!
