Determine our Steps
God gives us very unique and special seasons of life. Times of waiting, growing, flourishing, and trusting. But here's something I've learned. You don't have to enjoy every season the same. Some may be more exciting, some may seem dreadful, and that's okay! As long as you're trusting that God has you here for a reason and will fulfill His purposes through that.
Whatever season you're in right now, know that this is exactly where God wants you to be. I encourage you to look for the hidden pleasures and spiritual blessings of this season, even if it's one that is not as enjoyable.
Even during seasons of change, we know that God doesn't change, we know that His love stays the same, and we know that He is still directing our steps. We may make plans for ourselves and figure out our futures and pursue things that we want to be involved in our lives, but it is God who allows certain plans to work or to fail. He is a God who gives and a God who takes away. He knows what we need and when we need it.
Sometimes when things don't work out the way I want them to, I have to remind myself that God is for us, He is still working things together for our benefit and we should be patient and just let Him work. He knows what He's doing, even if we don't. Let Jesus determine our steps.
