A Heart Like Yours

Dear Jesus,

Please empty us of all the insecurity, fear, anger, loneliness, and deceit that lies in our hearts. Fill us with everything that is from You. Fill us with all goodness, faithfulness, purity, selflessness, patience, and love. Give us a heart like Yours. We long to be like You. We long to be Your child. A representation of You. God, we were made in Your image, so allow others to see You in us. We want to be so intimately connected and intertwined with You that others can see Your good works, Your glory, Your wonder, and Your beautiful heart. Give us a heart like Yours.

Thank You for all that You've done for us. Thank You for inspiring us, encouraging us, and comforting us. Thank You for giving us second chances. Thank You that everyday is a new day that we can rejoice in. Thank You for giving us opportunities to get to know You better and learn more about Your loving character. Thank You for not giving up on us, for Your patience in allowing us to grow. Thank You for being our treasured Saviour, Father, and Friend. You mean so much to us!
