Knit Together
God holds the knitting needles that design our lives. We can only see the part He has completed, but not the parts He is working on. Our lives look messy, scattered, and ugly, but they're not. God has a way of twisting everything together beautifully for the greater purpose of his holy city.
He knows how this will all work out. He knows how to knit the most beautiful blanket using the odd combination of colours we have currently in our lives. He knows when to work, let things progress, take some colours away, and when to add some. He knows. We can take confidence in the knowledge that He is active and alive in our lives right now. Unmistakably. We can rest assured that our God is good and He wants to bring us more joy and happiness than we could ever imagine.
Jesus holds the knitting needles. He has a plan for how this blanket is going to look. He wants it to be beautiful, but He doesn't want us to forget the times of sorrow that we experienced.
God knit us together in our Mother's womb. God knows the deepest, darkest, and most broken parts of our hearts. He knows us. He created us. He's still working on us.
We get discouraged too easily. We get mad because we can only see such a small amount. Just wait. Your time is coming. Your joy is coming. Your beautiful story is coming. God hasn't forgotten. He doesn't look past His broken children. He holds them. He's holding you. He knows the pain you feel. He is working. Be patient, my dear. Our God is waiting for the perfect time to bless you; don't miss out on the spiritual rewards He is about to bring forth. Just wait.
