Claimed for Eternity
Jesus has claimed our hearts! Isn't that a gorgeous statement?! He has claimed us as His own! He believes we are precious enough to die for. He has invited us to be His children, His prized possessions, His masterpieces, His creations, and citizens of His eternal kingdom.
What is holding you back from truly believing this? What are you putting your self-worth and value in? Are you looking to your friends to fulfill you? Do you believe that the makeup and clothes you wear, the events you attend, and whether you are in a relationship or not is what determines your value?
Jesus is clear. He loves us for who we are. There are days we way not feel as mentally secure, spiritually able, or physically ready for the day, but (fortunately) the way we feel doesn't determine who we are and how loved we are.
Jesus is still our Saviour. Jesus is still our source of comfort, peace, hope, and joy. His Spirit is still present, and our Father is still in control and holds our lives in His hands.
Jesus has claimed our hearts! He invites us to spend eternity with Him, bringing glory to His name, singing His praises, and being fixated on His majesty. Because of Jesus' self-sacrificial love for us, we have been set free and we have been called the children of God. We have an eternity with Him to look forward to.
