The Art of Worship
The fact that we can have a relationship with our Creator is a beautiful thing. The ability we have to worship Him is a glorious thing. When we are in a space where we feel safe, unashamed, and confident in the Lord, we are letting Him invade us. We are inviting Him into our very beings and allowing Him to be as close as our breath. As close as our heartbeat. We are desiring to be found by Him.
Worship doesn't have to look like joyous songs, eyes closed, and arms raised. It can look like writing in a journal. It can be dancing before the Lord with an open heart. It can look like a community coming together in prayer and praise.
Don't feel like you need to strive to be like other Christians. Do what feels right. Strive to be like Jesus! Be led by His Spirit in you. Let Him overwhelm you. Let Him over take you. Let Him fill you with His love, power, and mercy. Learn how to get lost in His presence. Learn how to open your eyes, mind, and heart enough for Jesus to heal you, mend you, save you. He was sent to earth to set the captives free! Jesus wants to set you free! He breaks every chain. He makes all things new, perfect, like they were never broken to begin with.
I invite you today, to let God take hold of your heart and change you. He bought you with a price; He bought your freedom, don't stay slaves.
