Let's Take This Slow
Life is busy. Life is noisy. Life is tiring. When was the last time you took a bit of time out of your crazy schedule to relax with God? Our time with God should not only be regular, but it should also be restful, peaceful, and sustaining. It should be timeless. We shouldn't rush these moments with Him. He's too precious.
God is telling us, His children, to slow down. Take a breather. To rest a while with Him. He wants to fill your mind with ease and your heart with joy. The only way we can truly have Jesus pour into us, is when we make time for Him.
Time is no obstacle. Time is no barrier. Time is no match for the Lord.
God explains that there is a time for all things. A time to plant and a time to harvest. A time to be quiet and a time to speak. A time to work hard and a time to rest. But here's the thing, God has it all figured out. He has every tiny detail planned out and all we have to do is trust Him. It's all in our Father's perfect timing. So let's take a break. Let's take this slow. Let's be free from the burden we carry that's filled with noise, because when we focus on God first, everything else falls into place.
