Face to Face with Fear

Sometimes you may get hit pretty hard by your past mistakes, your shame, guilt and sin. When you are face to face with a situation, person, or place that brings you back to a hard time in your life, there's a hidden comfort. Bad memories can bring a lot of unsteady, irregular, and dangerous emotions that are sometimes necessary.

If any of you have felt something similar, don't be afraid to directly face the problem. Don't be afraid to bring your worries to Jesus, who cares for you.

It takes a lot of bravery and courage to not run away from your problems. It takes a lot of strength to keep your head high and shoulders back. It takes a lot to let your confidence in God shine brighter than your fear of man.

However, it's not your strength that you should be relying on, it is God's. He gives you the strength you need to brave the storm and to accomplish His will even though you may feel scared and alone.

There is not a place on the face of this earth that God is not with us, that God will not protect us, and that God will not love us. This is His promise to us; He is faithful.

"But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?" -Psalm 56:3-4
