Unfamiliar Places
Sometimes our brokenness is revealed to us in unfamiliar places. Sometimes we don't even know how truly broken we are until we take a step back and look at where we were, where we are now, and how we got here.
The thing is though, we didn't get here alone. Whether we are straying from the path God designed for us or following it, He meets us here. He meets us here, in the unfamiliar places, that seem dark, lonely, empty, scary, and very uncomfortable.
He meets us here.
He is a familiarity in the heart ache, the stress of life, and the loneliness that comes along with it. Our God doesn't change; He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He always was and always will be. Whereas our lives are so short. We need to make the most. We need to look to God always to be our comfort, our familiarity, and our friend. Jesus is an amazing best friend!
So although we may seem stuck on this lonely path, we can be still and be at peace because Our God is always with us, always near, and always ready to talk. He is the definition of perfection, of love, and of comfort.
